“APTRI organising Three days ‘Lecture cum Lab’ training program on Protection, Automation and Metering, 22nd to 24th May 2014 for Power plant and T&D Professionals”

Program synopsis

The stringent operational limits, constraints and the dynamics in the grid due to mix of energy sources, competitive markets and deregulation is causing increasing stresses in all the equipment and systems in the power system as a whole. The power plant unit interaction interlocks and protection and power system protection in the presence of such unprecedented grid dynamics is proving to be a challenge. The industry has swiftly responded and is gearing up to closely track, monitor and intervene optimally by use of sophisticated devices and systems. It is imperative that the full potential, configurations and features of such technological interventions be quickly adopted and learned so as to enhance effectiveness of such deployments across the grid and power plants. The program is designed to share the best practices adopted in the current scenario.
